Actress Patricia Navidad Denies Drug Trafficking Accusations in Heated Confrontation with Mexican Journalist on Live Television

Amidst the already tense and controversial world of drug trafficking in Mexico, a new controversial figure has emerged – Mexican actress Patricia Navidad. The popular actress found herself at the center of a heated confrontation with investigative journalist Anabel Hernández, during a live broadcast of the Telemundo program ‘La Mesa Caliente’.

Navidad challenged Hernandez who implicated her with connections to organized crime within her book, “Las mujeres del narco“. Without providing tangible proof, Hernandez’s assertions have led many viewers to question their validity. During the live confrontation, Navidad expressed her frustration at not being able to confront Hernández in person. She also argued that the journalist’s book lacks credibility and that the stories attributed to her are false.

“You mention me in one of your books with three different stories. There is one, which I accepted and told since it happened because it makes me proud and counts in my favor and which makes clear my values, my integrity, my dignity and who I am”. “There are two other stories you mention that are completely false. I invited you at the time to show me the evidence. I think your book is based on things you are told. It is a book that is written in a cheating way for me ‘that I was told, it is said, it is rumored’, there is no way for you to prove to me those two stories that are completely untrue.” Navidad said.

Navidad even went so far as to reject Hernandez’s invitation to attend El Chapo Guzman’s trial, insisting that he has nothing to do with drug trafficking and that the accusations against him are completely unfounded. Hernandez defended the validity of her sources and the testimonies used in her book by explaining that in Roman criminal law, testimonies carry weight as evidence in criminal cases, even in the United States.

This confrontation between Navidad and Hernández has sparked heated debates in Mexico, with many calling for evidence to support the accusations made against the actress. Others have defended Hernández’s journalistic integrity and pointed out that her book is based on extensive research and investigations. The controversy continues to roll. The ramifications of this clash on both women’s reputations could be profound, given their popularity and the sensitive nature of the allegations.
